My name is Alyssa Shadinger and I am an Internal Audit and Financial Advisory Manager at Protiviti, a global business consulting and internal audit firm composed of experts specializing in risk, advisory and transaction services. Since joining the firm in July 2013, I have contributed to risk, compliance, and internal audit projects for clients in the Manufacturing, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Financial Services, and Nonprofit industries. Prior to joining Protiviti, I gained experience as a Corporate Internal Auditor for Sealed Air Corporation and as an Audit & Attestation team member at WeiserMazars LLP. Sealed Air Corporation is a global manufacturer and world leader in food safety and security, facilities hygiene, and product protection. I graduated with honors and distinction from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting. I financed 100% of my education through scholarships and part-time employment. Through my professional experiences I have developed knowledge and skills pertaining to External and Internal Audit, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Internal Controls, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Risk Management, and Regulation and Compliance.
